+ Larger Font | - Smaller Font Miners who worked at the Barony are being asked to come along to a local hall where ATS Heritage staff will record them over a cup of tea. Arrangements can be made for those who are unable to travel to be interview in their own homes. The first interviews were held on the 19th october, 2005 at Cumnock Town Hall and were a great success. The second interviews were held at Auchinleck Indoor Bowling Club, on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th of November, 2005. The third set of interviews were held on the 25th January, 2006at New Cumnock Community Centre. Recordings were held on Monday 13th March, 2006 at Muirkirk Bowling Green. Patter-merchants and worthies were welcome to come along between 10.30a.m. and 3pm where Jackie Lee, ATS consultant, chatted with them in a group with friends or individually over a cup of tea. Please contact either Sam Gardiner or Robbie Frame for information about further interviews. We have now interviewed a large number of people; many thanks to all that have come to interviews. The results so far have been great. We will still be running more interviews....watch this space for details.
